Worship With Us
Come as you are - no need to get dressed up unless you want to - your presence is so much more important than the type or style of clothes you wear. Usually, You'll find folks in very casual (shorts and jeans) or business casual dress.
Worship begins at 10:30 am each Sunday in the sanctuary.
Before worship we offer Coffee Fellowship starting around 10:15 am, also in the sanctuary - there's no better place to connect and catch up on the week's events, or meet someone new. We provide coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, and occasionally some sweet treats too. So come early, grab a cup, and get settled in for worship.
Our service has traditional elements, like candle lighting at the beginning of each service, music, prayer, scripture, and a message. But, we often add a twist to the traditional. For instance, we might have jazz music in addition to our traditional hymns or an interactive sermon discussion in place of a traditional sermon. It all depends on how God inspires us.
We share in Communion (also called The Lord's Supper) on the first Sunday of every month and on special occasions, such as Easter. This church practices Open Communion, which means EVERYONE is invited to receive the bread and cup. You don't have to be an official member of the church, or be baptized, or believe in any creed - if you are open to the spiritual experience of communion, and want to partake, then you are welcome to do so.
